Smart Wearable Gear - Samsung Gear S3

SAMSUNG GEAR 3

Although Samsung has been getting a lot of attention with it’s failed Galaxy Note 7, the Gear S3 should not be something to cheer about. I was about to purchase the S2 when it first came out but decided to just wait because  it didn’t have NFC (Near Field Communication) or MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission). With the S3 having this feature, it means that I can now go for a run without having to carry my wallet or bank cards and stop at the nearest grocery to buy a bottle of water.

The Gear S3 will come in two models – the Frontier and the Classic. The Frontier looks nicer but I guess it will be the more expensive.

With the S3 you’ll be able to also make and take phone calls right from the watch! This is a must have for any smartwatch especially if you don’t want to carry that many devices. So tuck away the phone at the gym locker and then if you get an urgent call that you must take use the watch! Although it will be a bit noisy in gym, you’ll be able to connect your Bluetooth headset to the Gear S3 so that’s not a problem at all.

The Gear S3 will be released in mid-November 2016 in the US and I’m sure the other countries will follow suit after that.

Hopefully, I will be able to get my hands on one try to out and you’ll never know. I might even get an app developed.
